Georgia Now Requires E-Filing of Civil Court Actions

In March 2018, the primary guidelines that govern electronic filing (e-filing) practices in Georgia were created. Beginning this year, e-filing of civil court actions became mandatory under a law passed by the Georgia General Assembly. This law applies to filings throughout all of Georgia’s 159 counties.
